About
Trust earned through transparency, not through claims of authority
What this institution is, how its material is reviewed, and the limits it places upon itself.
- Institutional purpose
- DUNAHIR is a human institution whose function is to remind, explain, connect, facilitate reflection and support responsible action. It does not claim revelation, does not replace scholars, families, communities or professional care, and does not place itself between a person and their Creator.
- Editorial standards
- Every published item passes through parallel review dimensions — editorial, scholarly, translation and safety. One approval never implies the others. Material remains marked as under review until each relevant dimension has been completed.
- Scholarly governance
- Theological, fiqh, hadith and tazkiyah material is capable of entering human scholarly review before publication. Levels of authority are labelled so that a reader never has to guess whether a sentence is revelation, Prophetic guidance, juristic interpretation, inherited wisdom or institutional reflection.
- Corrections policy
- Correction is treated as amanah, not as embarrassment. Substantial published material carries its original publication date, its latest review date and its correction history.
- Funding and sustainability
- Voluntary contribution may sustain the institution. DUNAHIR prohibits donor hierarchies, public giving leaderboards, manufactured urgency, guilt-driven appeals, and any suggestion that payment earns divine favour. Human dignity is identical whether a visitor contributes or never contributes.
- Privacy principles
- The platform collects the minimum required. Reading, searching, exploring and changing language never require an account. Public knowledge and any future private reflection remain structurally separated, and private reflection will never become a commercial behavioural profile.
- Contact
- Contact and correspondence details will be published alongside the institution's editorial board once governance is formally constituted.
